Memorial Celebration for Ed Peeples
Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 1 pm VCU James Branch Cabell Library 901 Park Avenue, Richmond, Virginia Lecture Hall, 3rd Floor Visit the Memorial Celebration Facebook Event page Ed’s wishes were that, if his family chose to organize a memorial of any kind, “it be made into an occasion of good fellowship, and perhaps a time to reflect upon and make new resolves on questions of advancing the causes of beauty, knowledge and justice”. With his wishes in mind, we’re going to honor Ed’s life Scalawag-style! Join us for some Celebratin’, Snackin’ and Scalawaggin’ at his beloved VCU Library. Stay for just the service or spend the afternoon with us as we share stories and make a #PeeplesPledge to continue Ed’s work into the future. Map and Parking Hourly parking is available at the VCU West Main Street Deck (801 West Main Street, entrances on Cherry and Laurel Streets). Most street parking restrictions in the surrounding neighborhoods are lifted on the weekends, but please refer to the signs. Lyft and Uber are always a good option in this area.
We look forward to celebrating Ed with you on November 2. |
